〔編譯陳成良／綜合報導〕全球氣候暖化又出現一項有力證據：最新數據顯示，北極厚冰層的面積已降至歷史新低。專家警告，北極海大面積的冰層越來越薄，年代也越來越短，可能在10年內消失殆盡，成為引發全球擔憂的問題。

英國每日電訊報7日報導，美國航太總署（NASA）的數據顯示，今年冬天北極圈的海冰面積為585萬平方英里，雖比2006年的最低紀錄多出28.2萬平方英里，卻仍是歷來第5低紀錄，也比1979年至2000年的平均面積少了27.8萬平方英里。
